Update

Thank you a lot for all the feedback you gave me!
I tried to fix most of it in that update. You can see the full changelog below.

Full Game

Also, I'm announcing I want to continue on this idea and these mechanics more, to make a full game.
However, the game is going to be pretty different.
There would be a proper narration, a whole new generation, etc.
So I think I'm going to keep this current "game" more as a sandbox to test new abilities for example.
That project, however, is probably going to take a lot of time, since it is a side project.

Card Game Addon (Godot)

Also, to help myself with all of that, I decided to make a Card Game Addon for Godot.
The goal is to make card games simple to make and test.
Imagine being able to easily undo a move while testing, or just be able to make it multiplayer in a few clicks.

  • 2 new active abilities have been added
  • 2 passive abilities have been added
  • The lifesteal ability has been reworked to be actually useful and interesting
  • The ink/action point conversion ability has been nerfed to prevent infinite bullying 
  • Rieux has been added (sorry for leaving you out ;-;)

Improvements

  • More feedback added
  • More polish added (transitions between battles, sfx when you can't do an action, ...)

Bug fixes

  • The background music is now looping
  • The amount of bosses encountered is now increased only after beating that boss
